Zodiac couldn’t be anymore simply named. Saucify (formerly BetOnSoft) have developed a simple, but colourful Zodiac slot machine which tries to factor in as many of the star signs as it possibly can, and that leaves more symbols on the reels than most players could possibly want. Factor in that the Zodiac slot game contains just 3 symbols per reel, and we’re not off to the best start to our Zodiac slot review.
Saucify takes on the star signs
We’ve already talked about the Zodiac slot graphics, but we must stress how much of an inconvenience it is to have so many symbols on the reels. The more symbols there are in the Zodiac video slot, the less likely players are to land winning combinations on the reels. There are, after all, only 20 paylines in the Zodiac slot.
Spacey stakes
Stakes are cheap enough, but again, this is a bit of a high variance slot. Players can select coin values of 0.01 up to 0.25, and bet as many as 5 of those coins per line. Wagers fluctuate from 0.20 per spin, up to 25.00 per spin. As we’ve said, wagers are cheap but that is hardly enough to win us over.
Fantastical features
Players can select one of the star signs as their supercharged icon (most players will undoubtedly choose their own star sign), and these symbols turn out to be the best-paying symbols in the game. It’s a nice feature, which can see you win up to 400 coins in all.
Sun icons appear as wild symbols and they can substitute for all other symbols in the slot, barring scatters. Wilds can also double the value of all winning combinations in which they appear, which is handy, to say the least.
Scatters appear as moon symbols and can trigger a free spins bonus round when 3 or more appear on the screen. Scatters can also reward players with wins worth up to 50x their total bet in the Zodiac slot.
Barely exciting bonuses
So far, we have been a bit let down by the features in the Zodiac slot machine. They don’t get much better. Players can win a total of 4, 6 or 8 free games with 3, 4 or 5 scatters, and all wins are doubled in the free spins bonus game. Again, this is nothing to write home about.
Zodiac’s future is pretty bleak
The lack of exciting Zodiac slot bonuses isn’t going to impress, and the sheer number of symbols on the reels of this slot machine are also a bit of a downer. There aren’t too many things about the Zodiac slot machine that would want to make us play it again, but give it a go all the same; perhaps you will feel differently?
