Bye bye Disney
Microgaming have chosen to avoid Disney’s version of Tarzan with this new slot. It is just as well. It would cost a fortune to obtain the license, and Disney have made it clear that they want nothing to do with the online slot world. So, what does that leave Microgaming’s Tarzan slot machine with? Find out in our Tarzan slot review.
Child-friendly graphics
It may not be developed alongside Disney, but there are still plenty of child-friendly graphics in the new Tarzan slot. The Tarzan slot graphics are bubbly, and 3D in nature, and they should make for a welcome addition to Microgaming’s newer range of loveable character driven video slots.
Branched out bets
Microgaming gives you the chance to branch out your bets (so to speak) in their Tarzan video slot. The Tarzan slot game carries a total of 5 reels and 40 paylines, and players can opt to wager anything from 0.01 per line, up to 1.00 per line. Paylines are non-adjustable. Given that, expect to be wagering between 0.40 per spin, and 40.00 per spin on this slot.
Wild wilds
The Tarzan slot game logo appears as a wild icon in this game. As a wild, it is capable of substituting himself for all other symbols, barring bonus icons and scatters. Wild symbols are also the second best paying symbols in the slot machine, after the scatter icons.
Speaking of scatter icons, they appear as plain and dull bonus icons. They symbols can trigger a Bonus Wheel feature when 3 or more appear anywhere on the screen. Players can then spin that wheel, to land either a jackpot cash prize, cash multipliers, a free spins feature, or the slot’s bonus round.
In the free spins feature, players will pocket up to 12 free games. The free spins bonus also contains Microgaming’s typical Rolling Reels feature, as well as a Growing Wilds bonus, which can see extra wilds do the business for you on the reels.
Pick-a-Potamus bonus
The second bonus feature in this game is the Pick-a-Potamus feature. It is not the best of the Tarzan slot bonuses, but it will suffice for most players. It allows players to pick at least 2 (sometimes more) hippopotami, and each pick you make will see you win an instant cash prize.
Swing and a miss
Microgaming’s new Tarzan slot is a bit of a hit and a miss. Some players are going to love the friendliness of this game, and find its features rather captivating. Others are not going to be impressed with wagering a minimum of 0.40 per spin, and/or will be put off by the cheesy, child-friendly graphics. What side of the coin you fall on is totally up to you, though.
