Perfect for Halloween
Just in time for Halloween, Microgaming has unveiled their Lost in Vegas slot. The Lost in Vegas slot game has been designed to blend elements of the popular zombie apocalypse with typical and traditional Las Vegas imagery. Zombies are gambling and it’s all gone nuts – that’s pretty much the theme of this game.
Zombies in Vegas
The new Lost Vegas slot machine does a good job of blending the two very different themes and imagery together on the reels. The Lost Vegas slot graphics certainly fit the bill, but the special features a bit overly complex, as you will see in our Lost Vegas slot review.
Wicked wagers
To begin with, you won’t be allowed to alter your bets too much. This is a 243 ways to win slot, so you can’t wager on each individual line. The Lost Vegas video slot will permit you to wager anything from a floor of 0.30 per spin, up to a ceiling bet of 45.00 per spin, though, which certainly isn’t too bad at all.
Scary special symbols
As for the special features in this game, there are quite a few of them. Players need to first decide if they wish to play in Survivor Mode or Zombie Mode. There are two bonus features in each mode, both quite different from the other. You can change between these as you play.
The Blackout Bonus is triggered at random, and can see players pocket an instant cash prize in either mode. You can also trigger free spins by landing just one scatter on the reels when this bonus occurs. Meanwhile, the randomly triggered Zombie Fist of Cash bonus can see you pocket an instant cash prize, too.
Be a survivor
There are better Lost Vegas slot bonuses, though. The ultimate aim is to land 3 or more hazard symbols on the reels. Doing so in Survivor Mode will offer you a Survivor Free Spins bonus. In this, all lower value symbols are removed from the reels as they appear in winning combinations (leaving only high paying ones), and a cash prize is stashed into your balance for those. When the feature ends, the stashed cash is paid out.
Meanwhile, the Zombie Free Spins bonus is far superior. It contains an Infection feature which can see stacked zombie icons turn reels wild. You could easily end up with 5 wild reels in this feature, which will really bolster your wins.
Is it any good?
The special features in the Lost Vegas slot are somewhat complex. Far too complex for your average slot rookie to understand straight off the bat. That doesn’t make them any less enjoyable, though. If you are going to play the Lost Vegas slot machine, we recommend you do so in Zombie Mode, since the bonuses tend to be a little bit more generous.
